Hi! I’m Steve.

I’m an ex software engineer, a newly-minted exporter, and on my way to becoming an international vagabond. I write about things like polyphasic sleep, moving to the other side of the world for no good reason, and surfing.

I’m an experience junkie. But lately I’ve been in a rut named Silicon Valley. To jump start my quest to live a fuller life I’m selling almost everything I own and moving to Southeast Asia. In addition to one dose of culture shock I’m throwing in a light smattering of living small. Everything I own is coming with me and hardly fills up my 80L backpack.
